Contact Your City Council

Urge your city council to act on housing!

Email your Olympia councilmembers and urge them to support housing for our most vulnerable community members.

Here are some ideas and key points to use while addressing the City Council:
  • Everyone deserves access to a safe and secure home
  • Despite our progress in revitalizing downtown Olympia, we have a homelessness crisis that requires leadership and solutions
  • The Home Fund is a cost effective and compassionate, data driven solution to housing our most vulnerable in Olympia
  • (optional) Anecdote about how homelessness effects you or another personal story
  • By investing in new homes, services and rent assistance, the Home Fund proposal will ensure all Olympians have a place to call home
  • The Home Fund will the most vulnerable individuals from youth to the elderly, disabled and veterans
  • Washington cities like Bellingham and Vancouver have passed housing levy’s in recent years and demonstrated the voter commitment to funding housing solutions.
  • It's time for the Olympia City Council to lead on this critical issue by placing the Home Fund on the ballot for November
